This vintage Escada jacket is a perfect example of the high quality and high style that was synonymous with Margaretha Ley pieces. The zip front red plaid wool longline jacket is just the right length to cover exactly where you want to cover!  We love the rich velvet trim that adds just the right amount of contrast to the plaid.

Jackets are no longer made with this much attention to detail and finish because it has become unaffordable to do so! Most jackets you find now aren't even made of wool or lined. That's why buying good vintage clothing is such a smart wardrobe investment! This jacket would have originally sold for over $1000 in the 1980's!
